So which St. Johns did she go to? Texas or DC?
Someone else pointed out that her father worked at Enron. I hadn't known that. If true, she was groomed at an early age to be delusional.

rojo has a lot of overlap with the convicted criminal felon Holmes. Both are Texans. Both have a LOT of ties to the fraudulent Enron. Both are tinhat Republicans. Both are buddy buddy a TON with Bush war criminals and other assorted Bush evildoers. rojo is SO in love and infatuated with the outlaw Holmes as he worships her. rojo's wife is a childhood friend of the miscreant convict Holmes.

I'm sorry we don't have a copy of her 4th grade yearbook in our living room for nightly reading.
Ha ha. As I nearly fell out of my chair from laughing. The very idea that rojo would allow ANY books into his house.
reading! we don't do no stinking reading!

ya...because people have control over who they went to elementary school with.
There are plenty of reasons one can find to criticize Rojo, or almost anyone else for that matter, but why you clowns are taking potshots regarding his interest in Elizabeth Holmes is somewhat inexplicable to the intelligent. Holmes is an interesting figure and a tragic one at that. So Rojo is trying to get confirmation that his wife was a classmate of hers. It is not a reason to take shots at him. However, I attended private schools and I would damn well know if Elizabeth Holmes was in my class because I remember faces. I would know that face but it might depend on how big the class is I suppose.

She's not a super villain. Not even a Ghislaine Maxwell. More a scapegoat for the Silicon Valley and Wall Street exploiters who lost their clients hundreds of millions and now skate away scot free. Too much emphasis on the fairy tale, and too little on due diligence by the people who always make the big bucks. Remember, she started as a naive 19 year old who knew zip about security laws or investment banking (or science, for that matter). There were many enablers, but we feel good about putting only her in stir.
Of course she is.
She knew test were false and never blinked.
You sound like the person excusing the mobs stealing from department stores because, hey, insurance will pay for it.
This level of medical and investment fraud did not only harm billionaire investors and military brass but all those with made up test results who took actions or omitted them based on fake results. You cannot sell a pretend machine for years and not know that it doesn't do what you claim that it does. A lot of people were physically hurt by her. Now, what if anything did the machine do? Does anyone know? The press wanted to believe on the basis of a tidy narrative but it was always highly suspect. There's a reason none of the typical Silicon Valley investment banks was in on this.
So not only did Theranos literally DNF but Elizabeth Holmes went home devastated every time she ran

Btw, staying you always finished last is sometimes used as defederation, it does not necessarily mean you actually 'always finished last'. I always tell people that I loved cross country but I was lousy at it. I wasn't a star by any measure, but I scored points for the team and was consistently in the low 17s on hilly courses Although I had several teammates and many competitors better than me, but I wasn't lousy. That's just a quick way to express you once did something that you did not excel at.

I think the more surprising part of the story is that someone married RoJo
No kne cares about her being last in running. She’s last once again in her career and for the slammer. Rightfully so.
the sackler family got america addicted to heroin and told them it wasn't addictive. the people at enron, the investment banks that tanked the economy in 2008. you're seeing what you want to see, likely because you don't have a family that was competently paying a mortgage on a house and yet was bounced out of it and into the street by a predatory bank. stop excusing horrific behavior.
