Did you miss my previous posts? I'm saying I don't need appreciation at all because I make my money in defi. paid off my house and other debt, retired now and just more money flowing into my bank account from some yield farms. It could all crash to 0 and it doesn't even matter, it's making me money all day every day.

I believe you. Aside from Google, how can I get started on DeFi?

Ah, the good old limited brain power person, unable to think beyond grouping everything into a singular label.

ya....., I'm a huge crypto investor. Lots of Metaverse & DeFi. I've staked, but have not used yield farming- because I do not understand it. But good as all that??

Huge crypto guy. Admittedly, your name made me laugh. Bitcoin is not highly regarded in the crypto world, so may use it. :)
“As the global crypto market has exploded in value — tripling last year from $774 billion to $2.2 trillion, according to CoinMarketcap — it has drawn in a broader swath of the population. The 1 in 6 Americans who report they have invested in, traded or otherwise used cryptocurrency represents a surge from 2015, when only 1 percent reported involvement, according to Pew.
And today’s pool of investors is increasingly diverse. A poll over the summer by NORC at the University of Chicago found that 44 percent of those who bought or traded cryptocurrencies in the past year were non-White, 41 percent were women and 35 percent had annual household incomes of less than $60,000. The survey also found that the average participant was younger than 40 and did not have a college degree“

What a surprise.
"Report: Financially illiterate more likely to own crypto"
This clip is so sad. It can't be a good idea to recommend to already disadvantaged people a pyramid scheme that just depends on the idea that it's going to keep going higher and higher in value. I watched this clip of this woman pushing this stuff for social justice and just started laughing. I mean it's totally the opposite of that. It's true underrepresented minorities have been put in terrible positions in financial system with trouble getting mortgages, etc and are behind in generational wealth, etc. but crypto is not the answer-it's more of the same crap and the opposite in fact. Crypto is predatory on the those looking to buy a digital lottery ticket

"the disadvantaged need to stay out of crypto so they stay disadvantaged"
Why is there so much overlap between r/poor and various cryptocurrencies and shtcoins and wallstreetbets etc?

And the current administration is trying to dictate (dictator) and regulate it like crazy. Crypto Developers say it is driving this sector's jobs overseas (link). Trump said he was never fond of crypto (why would he be if already a multi-billionaire, and Real Estate guy)- but never stood in the investors' way.

I think Trump would today say he's more of a fan of crypto than when he made that comment a few years ago just because crypto is attractive to many of his voters (someone without much financially looking to grab a digital lottery ticket and to those without college degrees.)
