I know the New Year has been here for a few days but today was the first day back to work for everyone.
So what would you like to see on LetsRun in 2022. I'm open to all suggestions.
Maybe we'll commit to doing one or two things in this thread.

2. Only allow legit UFO posts
3. Put up a LRC Tinder page , where we can post our location, how tall we are, and income .
I'd like to see an official covid vaccine thread and the elimination of previous covid vaccine threads to keep everything in one place.
Also, I'd like to see you have a bare knuckle boxing match against your brother streamed on Lets Run.

2) Ability to edit your own post after it has been posted.
3) separate message board tabs for threads on running, sports other than running, everything else, additional tab for all threads on which you posted
4) better merging of threads on the same topic or deleting redundant threads before they get started
There was a thread on this or another running message board (not sure) where posters could post a few photos of their daily run. It was actually fascinating, to see the areas that different people get to immersed themselves in for their workouts.
There were posters with a set of photos of some beautiful forested trails, some sets of photos of country roads surrounded by colorful farmland, some sets of photos of just lush PNW neighborhood streets and the thick green front yard landscaping, deserts, mountain vistas, ocean overlooks, gritty city industrial warehouse areas. It was captivating.
I am not sure how we could do that here with the obstacles to posting photos, but perhaps posters could email a handful of such digital photos to the LetsRun email address and a moderator could post one set each day.
It doesn't seem like that would be too tough to pull off, and it would celebrate the simple beauty of our daily workouts.

Most of the subjects I am interested in, already have great threads on them, but finding the “best” can be a struggle. I’ve read through Carolina runners “best threads” page, but it’s a bit outdated. I’d like for you to guys to pull up some of the best threads of all team and keep a list/database somewhere by topic. This could be a huge project or even just a simple one with the best threads in each category such as “tempos” “periodization” etc.

I think a “Poll of the Week” on the homepage would be fun for 2022. Basically just pose a question and let the users of Letsrun vote on it for a week. The poll questions could be anything: upcoming meet predictions, who’s better Runner X or Runner Y, how far was your long run this week, etc. Then you could discuss the results of the weekly poll on the Friday 15.

Allow the board to self moderate a bit. Upvotes/downvotes like Reddit would be helpful if they can be used to flag and remove trolls and attention whores from the message board.
Allow only one user name per IP address and/or device. Posters can still be anonymous but it would help eliminate a single bad actor using multiple alts to boost their own threads or to wage war on other posters.
More original content and direct reporting. If you are in the stadium, then get some interviews and some first hand accounts! Rojo and Gault were in Tokyo but, they could have easily done their daily show from home after watching the races on TV. Interviews with medalists? Mover and shakers? Nope. Just two guys sitting on a hotel couch looking bored while recapping what we saw on NBC/Peacock. Use those press credentials properly and get to athletes in the interview zone! Don't waste your access in Eugene by not talking to participants and then just "mail it in" live from a booth at TrackTown Pizza or a room at the Holiday Inn Express in Springfield.
I would like to see ip and permanent bans of the spammers who bump old threads to post spam links. This happens a lot and letsrun does nothing about it.
I like reading professional articles.
I would like to see it become impossible to register anonymous names that have posted within the last week.
