Umm…Lie means there was intentional deception. There was no such thing. MDs working at some of the most prestigious hospitals in the world explained at the time these vaccines were released (and they got them in their own arms a few months before most of us) the experts didn’t yet know just how well they would work at preventing transmission. They still believe they help prevent transmission to some extent, particularly against the initial variants. It was then discovered pretty soon that they lose protection after like 3-6mos, hence the need for boosters…
Now….the reason (my perspective) many anti vax are messed up in their thinking here is they never got or understood what doctors said when they came out, never got the inside scoop. They only listened to the public messaging and media personalities and so they think “whoa… wait a minute, all these messages telling us the importance of getting vaxxed and some of us around us are still getting infected, wtf is up with that. Therefore government and media are full of it. Or… Oh wait, the guidance is changing, first we don’t wear masks, then we wear, then we get vax, but my friend got Covid anyway so F it and therefore the experts are lying to us and/or mixed up in the head.” Some of them are not dumb but they’ve been fed so much misinformation their perspective is warped ….poor public messaging efforts and messages from comedians to make it look like Dr Fauci and all medical doctors have been tricking us or that there is something fishy going on behind the scenes such as “big pharma” blah blah whatever, when there is and never was (over the last 3 years)any such thing.
