I was just thinking the same thing myself today with similar thoughts re his training.
First of all, I don't get the Matt hate, but that said, I don't know him. His channel is extremely popular though.
Regarding his training, it seems cluttered. His travelling makes it difficult too. One thing I think he's lacking are long hard runs in his prep. He doesn't need to do as many intervals which he regularly nails.
I think he can easily break 2:20 if he reduces his travel and incorporates more 20k - 30k tempo in his training.

Chad Noelle. My bad for putting him in the sub elite category. A 3:59 mile is Elite, albeit not top international level. Good luck to him. Hope he gets the issues resolved with Matt Fox.
We should be a community of friends not foes - the world is hard enough as it is. Peace.
What does your beef with Chad have to do with Lee Troop? Would Lee let you around his team again? NO WAY. How about Richie Hansen? Are you welcome to work with Roots? NO WAY.
Matt, I can promise you I’m not Chad. Stop acting like he can post under multiple usernames. You clearly have NPD or some other issue that is not allowing you to accept that you have wronged people and can’t accept the consequences of it.
Answer the questions that people have asked and you won’t look like such a fool. Stop dodging questions.
Per Matt's reply to a comment on YouTube asking what happened between him and Nick Bester:
"There were a number of issues with Best Athletics that caused the split. Coaches are all on different commissions (mine being highest) which meant it was in the founders best interest to not direct enquiries to Sweat Elite but rather coaches on low commissions (as low as 55%). It was learned many enquiries were not forwarded on. On top of this the employee benefits were not up to standard in my opinion (no incentives for taking in person training sessions, expensive Christmas parties for name a few). In addition the business moved away from coaching people personally and instead changed to coaching in a group (for the prices you’re seeing). It’s not possible to coach 150+ people personally."
