Nobody comes out of this well. I love SE and have watched almost every single video from start to finish, but I was cringing when Matt brought this up on the podcast. It's a major misstep, no matter whether he was in the right or not.
It also doesn't help that Matt's attitude towards female athletes seems pretty poor. Rather than look inwards at Sweat Elite or his actions or maybe even the way he communicates as a potential reason for not having more female athletes featured on the channel, he instead basically blames women for ignoring him or refusing him or cancelling on him. Perhaps the problem lies with SE or Matt himself?
There's something smelly about all this. Hopefully nobody gets hurt and it doesn't affect the content long term.
On a quest to break 2:20 for the Marathon, Sweat Elite founder Matt Fox documents his journey to the Osaka Marathon. This is week 1 of the 10 week Marathon s...
He's now putting out a 30min podcast breakdown of each training week (link in description of video linked above) for paying members only...dude has gotten confused and forgotten he's just the cameraman. I know some people have an interest in sub-elite training but you know how many people try and fail to hit a 2:20 Marathon, it's not that special, and now you're charging people for it? Not to mention it's stuff you can just look up on Strava. Mental.
Everyone in Boulder and Flagstaff are well aware of who and Matt is. He is no longer welcome in elite circles. Having said that Boulder is just filled with constant drama and it seems to follow the same people around.
Ironically, Boulder is rather devoid of elites. Drama must foment and grow legs among the age groupers, or what are they calling themselves, sub-elites?

his friendship and business partnership with a certain Nick Bester seems to have gone south. Anyone know why?
How long until Matt gets on here and says it’s 1 or 2 people posting “slander” about him? While in reality he’s just made a lot of enemies from being a POS person everywhere he goes.

It looks like you are correct. He was previously listed as a coach but no longer. Also has his instagram private now. Must have had another falling out
I don't know anything about the guy one way or another but I can say his channel is a great service to running fans and that's all that's important to me.
