That’s a weird statement. Chris Chavez reported that Chris Chavez is leaving SI. And whatever site you think they’d start would not compete with LR. Did you really just create a gossip thread? People are so bizarre.

The forum is a place where runners talk about stuff - running, politics, technology, pop culture, etc.
The good news is we are launching a new forum interface in 2022. If you don't want to read non-running news, we will let you filter it out so your own private forum will be 100% running news.

I would try the new site. This site keeps deleting the threads I started about the Drunk guy in India that was swallowed by a giant 20 ft snake .

Part of what makes this place great is the platform. Let it exhist on a 1998 phpbb release, thats what makes it beautiful. One of the last remaining frontiers on the internet.
I understand that the names mentioned thus far are wealthy hobbyists stringing with legitimate publications for $50 an article and/or they blog their own content. Is that correct?
