Something a lot of people are doing in this thread is cherrypicking one piece of what we know and saying "How is that sexual misconduct?!" while ignoring that there's multiple allegations that we know of (and likely some that we don't). The crux of the matter is that people aren't looking at the big picture at all while simultaneously downplaying individual events. We have pretty good knowledge that he:
* Weighed athletes in front of teammates and deriding them in front of their peers
* Commented on boob/butt sizes
* Tried to sneak a quick kiss on the plane (There's not much info about this one, probably because Salazar's wife will beat him if he ever talks about it)
* Tried to put athletes on birth control medication
When examined from a 1,000ft view instead of under a microscope, you'll pretty quickly see a sleaze ball that's got some weird misogyny worms stuck deep in his brain. If I commented on one of my coworkers boob/butt sizes, I'd be in a heap of trouble and probably out of a job. "Okay, but weight directly correlates to performance!" you say. Yes, I know that. I know I have to be lean and light if I want to ever take a stab at my PRs again, I'm no fool, and neither is Salazar. He could say "Hey, let's work with this team nutritionist and figure out an optimal race weight." Yes, he did that in some cases, but why'd he feel the need to shout about boob and butt sizes? It's not like eating a bit less will directly shrink your boobs and only your boobs.
Now, I'll admit it, Mary Cain is really annoying. She was and probably still is very immature. That doesn't change the fact that Salazar was supposed to have a professional relationship with her. She lived in their house for a little while, imagine what went on there. If I had to have an annoying teenager live in my house for a professional relationship I'd be pissed, but, I'd bite my tongue and try my best to respectfully mentor and foster the young adult.
