The Millennial generation is obsessed with gender-neutral dumpy, perennially-stoned indifferent people.
They have a belief that Boomers have shafted them, as they can't buy a house for $20K any more like their parents did even though they were paid maybe $8K annually to sell door-to-door, and they're protesting by turning off their brains, spending money on stupid stuff like the latest iPhone and lattes three times a day, while putting that $100/mo. into the market would make them millions inside of ten years.
Seems they're waiting around for everyone else to die, so they can take control, but they seem to forget there are generations behind them, that know they're stupid.
Boomers definitely shafted us. Go look at any of the data. Although I do think the constant whining about everything instead of taking action is really annoying.
My Boomer neighbor was killed in Vietnam at age 20 or 21. I believe he was drafted. I'm sure he shafted you.

Like Dylan and the Beatles and the Stones?

One doesn't have to be obsessed in order to recognize there is a bull in the china shop - and a very big dumb bull at that. Menken would have agreed.
Lol. Sure you are, buddy. Mommy can heat you up another hot pocket while you think up some more funny things to say on the website.
She can't sing....
And you brought up the Beatles as an example of "good" music to suggest that Billie is no good. So, you're a basic b**** that only knows the Beatles, and couldn't provide any other example. just BEATLES GOOD, BILLIE BAD.

No mention that much of her music is attributable to Finneas O’Connell.

You should consider being my new grandma as a career. You've got the perfect temperament for the job! I'll pay top dollar if you bake well, too.

So she is basically the musical equivalent of an out of shape hobby jogger. Plenty of people like her but doesn’t mean she is good or has talent.
Have to imagine 10 years from now a few people will be laughing about that time they defended her “talent” on a message board. I can hear them saying I can’t believe I used to like this crap.
Hobby Jogger's don't get Grammys and host SNL. The equivalent would be a hobby jogger that wins the Boston Marathon, Chicago Marathon, and London Marathon then gets asked to host SNL.
- 8 Grammys so far, and counting (nominated for six more for 2022).
- Both of her Studio Albums were #1 (she became the first artist born in the 21st century to have a #1 album)
- One Bond Movie Song.
- Will Host and be the musical guest on this weekend's SNL.
Just watched her host SNL and I'm now a converted fan. I can see her doing more acting than music.

Its ironic that you bring up the Beatles, who are Billie's #1 influence, and you can hear the influence in her music. Sounds like your son should be introduced to Billie's music if he likes the Beatles! A good dad would do so!
BTW, What Billie Eilish video are you referring to above? Sounds like you've never even bothered to google her, much less listen to her. If you did you would have known the Beatles connection. The first song Billie ever learned how to play was "I Will" by the Beatles.

Mencken on the Democrats: the worship of jackals by jackasses. Still on point in 2021.

Admittedly a Boomer here, well not by definition, I’m 3 years older than the oldest Millenials but a Boomer when it comes to music.
I listen to very little current/pop music. I have no musical ability or education, but I can see that Billie Eilish is very talented. I don’t really listen to her music, but I can appreciate it.
Same here.
I heard the name but that's about it.
Checked her out on You Tube, and it is actually pretty good. Surprisingly good, in fact since i tend to be so cold on the current music scene.
I would listen to it again, for sure. And musically, I would say she has some depth and shows some very real talent and composure in her arrangements.
I consider it a real find, and this is coming from a a guy who listens to a lot of early punk, grunge, and alternative.
Boring drivel.
Do they have good Shtcoins and NFTs on her I can find someone to sell them to for more?
