I am currently compiling footage of the fastest finishers in 100m sprint history, meaning the sprinters that travelled from 60m mark to 100m mark in the fastest time.
Here is a list I found online and I was able to confirm the split times for all of these sprinters except for Jimmy Vicaut
Bolt 6.31+3.27=9.58
Gay 6.39+3.32=9.71
Blake 6.33+3.36=9.69
Spearmon 6.60+3.36=9.96
Dix 6.56+3.37=9.93
Martina 6.54+3.37=9.91
Lyles 6.49+3.37=9.86
Powell (Athens) 6.39+3.38=9.77
Vicaut 6.48+3.38=9.86
I'm not able to confirm Vicaut's time because he has ran two races in a time of 9.86
Which of these races seems more likely to have been the one where he ran the final 40m in 3.38?
There are no markings on the track in Paris to indicate where he would've reached 60m
There are markings on the other track but I cannot determine which one is 60m
