With her stride length and foot speed can you imagine if she moved up to the marathon? Would she break the world record and maybe even scare 2:10? When do you guys think she should move up in order to maximize her potential at 26.2?

She is a gold medalist in 2 laps. Not sure why she would move up to the marathon now when she likely would not make the US Olympic marathon team.
Don’t call it a thon
She would be a hobby jogger in the marathon. She should not move up until she retires.from middle distance...and then only do it for fun.
Her 1500 PR is 4:16. She would be ever slower at longer distances.
Please stop.
any topic about athing mu moving up in distance, in jest or not should be grounds for an immediate IP ban
If A. Mu stopped what she is doing, only specifically trained for Marathon, breaking 2:40 would be unlikely but if A. Mu could race Marathon sub-2:40, her time would only be slightly faster than 2:40. Leave her alone please. A. Mu is world class at 400m & 800m.

No, I’d really like to see Mu race Kipyegon at 1000 meters. That would be epic.
