What's your point ?
From the WSJ today, on excess mortality in SA. Clearly, at least southern Africa is not doing well in covid terms.
Excess deaths, which experts say provide a better picture of the virus’s toll on the country than the official number of Covid-19 deaths because of low testing rates, have topped 272,000 since the start of the pandemic, one of the highest per-capita counts in the world. South Africa’s economy, the most developed on the continent, shrank 6.4% last year and the official unemployment rate tops 34%.
If you do a little research you will see that an estimated 85% of Covid cases are unreported in Africa. Regarding deaths - in Nigeria, the most populous country on the continent, only 10% of all deaths were reported in 2017. Most of the continent lacks the infrastructure and reporting mechanisms that are common in richer countries. The entire continent has had 70 million Covid tests. In America alone, we have had 550 million. If you don't have the statistics you have ignorance. https://www.afro.who.int/news/six-seven-covid-19-infections-go-undetected-africa

So any and all alleged excess deaths can only be prescribed to Covid.
This Covid is something special
