Yes. The sound and the way you were hobbling, I could make less noise and run faster in carbon soled cycling shoes.

ROJO, can you let supporters club members know what shoe you are wearing in the next friday 15?

You say AMA but what's the point when you respond to only 1 or two posters?
He fell off his chair, he can't be expected to reply to everything.
ROJO - after trying these shoes, do you think records in supershoes should have an asterisk?
In addition to the trampoline effect, did your legs feel more protected from impact and stress? I've heard the benefits are twofold - trampoline each step AND your legs don't fatigue as much which makes you fresher at the end.
I have to admit from the way Rojo was walking I wouldn’t have thought he could run even 1 sub 10 mile! I’m impressed!

I thought I was slow and then I saw rojo.
Is he already 50?
Just WOW!
Jesus people. I run my 2nd best effort in 10 years wihtout even training and people are ripping on me. For the record, I 'm under 200 pounds and under 50 years of age. But can someone imagine the outrage if I was a waoman and people were saying I look old and fat?
On a serious note, this gives me hope I'll break 3:00 at age 50. How many people do that in the country every year?
Wow again.
I am 57 and I hate it when I am edging 180 lbs.
On a serious note, you will not run sub 3 hours (for Marathon I assume) ever again.
Many people do that every year, not that many over 50 but they are fit.
These shoes are arguably the most important running tech in decades (or ever created?).
And somehow —despite loudly railing against the shoes for years— ROJO never tried them out. Never bought Wejo a pair, never bough Jonathan a pair. Think about that. Every running journalist on the planet has already given them a try and written articles on them.
ROJO -curator of arguably the most important running news source- waits 4 years and even then only tries them out due to being given a free pair.
I think this perfectly sums up this site.

I got the Vaporfly and wore them everyday training for three weeks until I literally wore them out, they upper ripped and the bottom came off.
It was like running on a combination of pillows and a trampoline. Ran fastest times on my loops with about 75% effort.
I’m not sure what I would have done had they had these back in early 2000’s when I ran OT Marathon since it so obviously mechanical doping. I don’t see how this is any different from straight up doping. They are worth ~ 5-7 minutes in a marathon and anybody who says otherwise is kidding themselves.

There is only one brand that is described as trampolines - Nike Next%
Holy, the rage against Rojo for just giving a short review of the feeling of putting on super shoes for the first time. If that doesn't make him question the tone of this forum.
Love it.
I hope they are Asics.

RoJo- I found your comments very interesting, so thank you. I always wonder why people come on here just to say the nastiest stuff they can come up with. I'm 69 and can't race anymore, but still run 5 times a week because it keeps me in a good mental space. I wonder, again, about these nasty people. Maybe if they up their mileage they would chill out.
