That's funny, I was going to say 1 x 20 mile run but only if well trained before.
I'd be interested to see how someone running 20 miles every other day would compare to the same person on a more standard training programme of 70 mpw.
Probably anything is going to work better with someone well trained than someone not. This guy had a couple sub 2:20s under his belt in earlier years on more running.
