P.S - He himself stayed in the interview above he was suffering from atrial fibrillation this kid needs to be looked at for micro clotting of an artery connected to the brain and or heart https://www.heart.org/en/health-topics/atrial-fibrillation/what-is-atrial-fibrillation-afib-or-af
HI Seamus, where in the interview did he say he experienced atrial fibrillation?
Good chance that Jenny B's issue was mental, and this could have been, too. There are several really good books out about the mind's control over physical performance, and one talks about Jenny's race extensively. The myriad responses in this thread that throw out implausible physical problems suggest it wasn't all physical.

This happened to me 2003 NCAA III xc nationals. Was prob dehydrated from nerves (stomach not doing great), it was unseasonably hot, I felt terrible and kept pushing and by the final 100m it hit me and I was staggering /crawled /fell to the ground and went from 6th to thankfully only 26th ! I feel his pain… not the result of eating disorder

Near the end he said the medical staff worked on lowering his elevated heart rate, he said they worked on bringing down his heart rate, he isn't going use the clinical term, but that's what essentially atrial fibrillation is, a racing heart rate.

No, dude. Afib can cause tachycardia, but not all tachycardia is caused by Afib.

Blood clots can cause Afib yes or yes? Also a TIA yes or yes?
Racing heart rate is probably from running a race. Lol.

Cardiologist here - in my honest medical opinion, you are a complete idiot!

Yeah it's merely coincidental that he's been vaccinated and boostered and that Athletes all over the World are dropping at alarming rates, he's probably fine. They shouldn't even consider maybe checking him out as it's mere coincidence. His last km was 6:22/km that should have negated the athletic stress induced heart elevation unless something else is at play.

Tribe, You must have missed the day they taught about pulmonary embolisms.
Pulmonary embolism (PE) is a fatal condition, which can cause a variety of complications. One of these rare complications are arrythmias such as atrial fibrillation (AF)
Apology accepted!
Sage Canaday exhibited similar issues when he was diagnosed Pulmonary Embolism back in late May

Trust me, after I got vaxxed I look like cooper but after every easy run! Joe has really done it this time! It’s a sedatary vaccine to stop the population from being able to rise up!!!
This happened to more than 50% of the runners in this race! The news just censored it!!!
I heard a lot of people dropped out.

Lol. Yeah.
I guess my post-race headaches were indicative of an aneurysm.
This happened to both Jenny Barringer (Simpson) and Shalane Flanagan at the NCAA XC meet as well. It'll happen again to other great runners that put it all on the line so they have no regrets. Hopefully Teare has a career close to what Jenny and Shalane have had. He already has shown similar class in his post-race interview.
Daniel Do Nascimento in The Olympic Marathon. They have passed this off as heat stroke https://youtu.be/0Z3qL5dftX0 (Go to 1:27:00 mark in video) You'll see him without issue leading into a water station. When the resume coverage of lead group he has vanished. Zero indication of heat stroke looks very good and then boom it all goes wrong and he suddenly stumbles and falls. When is the last time a guy falls from heat exhaustion to suddenly pop back up and start nailing low 4:00 mile pace? correct never! He had a mini stroke or TIA. The entire Brazilian Olympic Team was fully vaccinated. Don't tell me these injections are hurting athletes it's very obvious and we need to wake up ASAP!

Why didn't someone pick him up and carry him across the finish line so they could get praised for their heroic and selfless act by the media? Isn't this a thing anymore?
I loled.
