All 5 NC State runners are All American.
Congrats to Whittni Orton and NC State.
Great race, great coverage. What a beautiful day. I’m sorry I’m not there, but so far this championship is a thing of beauty.
Whittni FINALLY pulls it off! With 500 to go I thought it might be a repeat of her collapse last spring.
Anybody know where NCAA Cross nationals will be next year?
Amazing coverage. What a race! Orton. Not even close with her last km in 3 min....great stuff.
ORton really dominated in the end.
NC State had 5 in before anybody else put their first three in.
NC State will have a lot of work to do to replace their 3 and 4.
but they might already have those girls if Rauber and Starliper get it together.
So unfair these old byu women with their LDS missions are allowed to win.
O wait.....most of the womens team didn't serve an LDS mission and isn't getting an age advantage
its almost like the byu culture is producing winners, not the ages.....
Marlee Starliper will be in the mix next year, and Brooke Rauber. I think NC State is set to be even better next year.
Perfect conditions, fast course. Great interview with Orton.

As a New YOrk State guy, I sure hope so!
I project something in the low 28’s for the men’s 10k based off how fast the women ran today.

2021: Tallahassee, Fla. (host: Florida State), November 20
2022: Stillwater, Okla. (OSU Cross Country Course), host: Oklahoma State
2023: Charlottesville, Va. (Panorama Farms), host: Virginia
2024: Madison, Wisc. (Thomas Zimmer Championship Course), host: Wisconsin
2025: Columbia, Mo. (Gans Creek Cross Country Course), host: Missouri
Great race.....and fast!! Orton was incredible at the end. NC State just dominated.....great race for Bush and Hays, I was not expecting either to be so high. Steelman looked like she was struggling at 4km, but held in through the finish.
I was expecting Roe / McCabe to have a stronger kick at the end. But Orton was was simply to strong

Serious track 10K coming. Does not favor Mantz. I’m looking for Teare doing much better than expected.
