Democrats lose again! Why are liberals so hell-bent on killing off the human race?

Not due to Covid, rojo; due to fearmongering and irrationality.

You know that this is in the Netherlands right? Jesus, I wouldn't want someone who speaks straight from the gut like you as a coach. Use that brain of yours.
What the heck is going on in this World? This pandemic should have been over a long time ago!

Exactly. The MSM blames Covid for the actions of the authorities
Cancelling outdoor events. Genius.

Yep, cancel the things that encourage people to live healthier.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ym0ZA8pZYs4Not great for the Dutch to be seen to be doing this. I thought that, as a country, they had more common sense and robustness, but it appears that former HR manager Mark Rutte and his advisors have adopted the most virulent virus currently sweeping Europe - lockdown fever. Nearly 2 years of this easily transmissable disease and it only seems to be getting worse. How will these European countries ever climb out of lockdown?
I know this point will fall on deaf ears or someone will try to use mental gymnastics to rationalize this decision but I will type/say it again.
The Netherlands has about 72% of their nation vaccination rate. I assume this race would require either proof of a vaccine or at least a test. If this vaccine is so effective (as the media & governments keep yelling to the rafters) why the heck are we still canceling stuff due to covid?

We are in year 3, actually. First case in China was 11/17/19.

Because politicians and public officials are risk-averse. It doesn't have anything to do with the vaccines. For a lot of policymakers the goalposts were moved from straining the hospital system or unnecessary sickness/death to "large case number that scares me" even though it shouldn't really. Cases, pre-vaccines were a big deal, but now they are the fourth most important statistic at best.

That's crazy to cram that many people into a stadium during the worst pandemic in 1000 yrs! I hope they're requiring vaccination or a negative test!

What are you suddenly canceling your Netherlands vacation trip? Is the Netherlands GDP going to fall because they cancel this race? They don’t GAF about what some silly American thinks
There's literally thousands and thousands of options between these two things, big guy.
