Great to hear, but we know Ritz can run well. We want to him healthy for the championship races. His best track nationals effort is still 11th place off his H.S. senior year, though he has done well for XC nationals.
Course record and nice run!
Dathan Ritzenhein won the U.S. 10K Championships today at the Food World Charity Run in Mobile, Alabama in a record time of 28:10 in warm conditions. He was on American Record pace for four miles before falling slightly off pace. Brad Hudson, Dathan's coach, reports that Dathan felt great and this performance is an excellent sign...
How hard/easy is the course? I thought it was said to be easy on another thread, but could not find info on the Letsrun search.
Yes, yes, WE know what's best for Ritzenhein. WE have been training him since he was a wee tyke and WE have watched him progress, WE have been there for his defeats, his wins, and all hardships between. WE need him to run well in the summer because WE depend on his performances.ttc wrote:

What illiterate bloke writes that site?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
