John once told me that he absolutely LOVED recruiting. When he didn't anymore, it was time to move on. I know he worked at it too as he was just so darned competitive.

The Pac 12 is about to become the Pac None. Apparently Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah are setting up to bolt to the Big "Ten." Whomever is left among Stanford, Oregon, Washington, Cal, WSU, OSU will need to find a Power conference ASAP, or their athletic departments will be left out in the cold. Football players want to get paid and those conferences that can't pay won't be able to compete.
The Pac 12 commissioner seems to be in denial, apparently trying to see what kind of a TV deal they will be able to cut. The short answer is a really, really crappy one that is hundreds of millions of dollars less than before. A uni like Cal is in deep to its stadium retrofit so this could break down their program. You can bet that this conference-hopping will affect or close down track and XC programs across the NCAA if they don't get this sorted out almost immediately.
There’s another thread saying the Lehigh head coach has resigned
Can't find anything to support this other than that post. Nothing on their social media or athletics website, and his profile is still there.
Anything on the Wisconsin Women's distance job? Application deadline was June 29.
For what it's worth, Blutreich (throws) and Henner (distance) are no longer on the ASU website, but John Ellis (Jumps) is still there. And there's nothing offical (yet) from Tennessee about Blutreich - but they haven't named any assistants yet.
All the ASU Throwers are on the Portal. Blu is going to Tenn. and so are all his throwers. 3 coaches gone and all their top athletes gone. That place is a disaster right now.
It really is. And I haven’t even heard anyone talk about the fact that they had to send a bunch of their best athletes back to AZ after the first round of regionals because they had warrants out for their arrests…
Forks up!
There are so many jobs still open. No movement on any of them? There has to be some rumors, especially at smaller schools with candidates on campus.

The pole vault facility is not the cause of the mass exodus of assistant coaches. The "twins" have not only gone on the portal, but have already been picked up by other universities. Looks like the AD has his hands full being eroded out of the power five.

This should be interesting....
Don't recall this one being posted on this thread.
