Good fit? yes.... but why on earth would she want that headache? BYU can match any offer and she will continue to get every top LDS runner in the nation- THERE ARE A LOT of them.
She can continue doing what she loves at the highest level without the headache of being the Director of Oregon and all that will come from that. Plus with NIL on the horizon of changing the sport, BYU is in a GREAT spot with the church and it's rabid followers to be a top school to retain those high level recruits and pay them the money they deserve.
She goes to Oregon and she is back to the rat race. BYU is the easy street for her.
Oregon is a revolving door with no upside other than career wise you feel like you've reached the mountain top only to find it barren and cold.
