Attempting my first real training effort for a road marathon next spring, and am looking at following Hansons plans. I'm decently biased towards speed though, and considering dropping some of hisTuesday workouts (alternating weeks perhaps) and replacing with slower/longer runs. Is this a reasonable modification? I know I lack consistent mileage in my legs, and think the slower basey stuff would be much more beneficial.
