FastTuohy, you are a bit creepy. You know WAY too much about the NC State women’s team and comment on them way too much to be healthy.
Perhaps he or she has a kid there or had a kid there. There's really nothing creepy about FastTuohy's posts. I know little about the NC State program so I like reading the info.

Yep.
Agree…… keep feeding info FastTuohy! Appreciate your post’s and info.
I think this is why people have such a strong interest in high school and college running in general, which can put underage kids, and amateur athletes in a difficult position with fans. It's hard to police it because on the one hand, these are kids and they aren't competing for a fandom, on the other hand, fans are very disenchanted with pro running right now. I mean world champs in general is hard to watch...I think so many of those runners (and esp US distance runners tbh) are cheating.
That's why I don't think the intentions behind following high school or college runners is "creepy" and Tuohy is a phenom's phenom. There has been no other runner who has run as fast as she has an had the level of success in both XC and track as Tuohy and Tuohy is successful as a college athlete on top of that. that is incredibly exciting to watch, and of course fans are going to pay attention.
But using her name as your handle while sharing a lot of "insider" information? ehhhh unless you know her personally, at least consider how this might come across to her. Tuohy was still a minor and wasn't competing for fans or money. When you don't know anyone on the other side of a screen, it can be hard to determine what's going on.
I am curious what supposed "inside information" I have shared. Because I do not have and have not ever had any. If recalling what is said in an interview that is on YT, or seeing and citing an Instagram post is "inside" I guess we all need to rethink that. I guess if this name bothers everyone too much AND there is a way for me to change it without creating a new email address I will consider that. The name was a reaction to some moran from MN insisting Covert would take the 2018 NXN race out so fast she would drop Tuohy. Of course, the opposite happened. I continue to use it as opposed to hiding what I post behind a different name in every new thread and readers can certainly track what I post and use that against me should I post bad information or predictions. But, hopefully this thread will stay on topic.
So, who enters the transfer portal to actually have an opportunity to compete as a college athlete?
Is it better to be the 15th or 20th runner at NC State, or the #1 runner at say Penn State, for example?
They will lose 3 of their top 7 of this year (Steelman, Hays, Clairemonte). Chmiel may even graduate early and begin residency so who know if she will run next year? There will be opportunities to compete in XC - if they are good enough. If not, certainly in T&F.
How would Chmiel start residency? Has she already done 4 years of med/vet school?

She has not even started vet school yet, so no concerns of residency.
Has completed BA Animal Science and pre-vet requirements.
Currently enrolled in a masters within animal science that gives her more research experience and strengthens vet school app. (or possible vet PhD)
Best guess is she will do some pro running, and do vet school later.

There’s another guy with the screen name “Kobbs Hessler”. Wonder what’s that all about
There's a good chance that Gapes will redshirt her whole freshman year, even if she's not injured. Coach Henes has talked about how she likes to redshirt freshmen, and it's a move that makes sense when the upperclassmen are so deep that the team doesn't need to rely on first-year athletes for points.

Yeah it’s a good idea that she redshirts as many freshmen as possible. and redshirts all the freshmen that won’t score. She wants to keep them longer. There won’t be a Tuohy or a starliper in the lineup at some point

You guys know that Katelyn Tuohy has a brother who is only 2 years older. Right?

As far as I know a person can only make one nickname on this forum, so I think it's quite strange that a grown man would make his one and only permanent nickname to include the name of a 20 year old female, unless he's her dad. But I doubt that he is. So yes, that is creepy.
