Went 1:37 off of 4.5mos training, which consisted of a daily easy 4 miler @9min pace, a handful of workouts (3-4 x 1 mile repeats), and one single long run of 9 miles. Next nearest long run was 7 or 8 miles. Highest weekly mile total was 30, most weeks were right around 20mpw. Previous PR was 1:42 off of almost exactly the same training.
I have a spring goal of about 1:25. What would my next 6 mos of training look like? I feel like a 6 mo training block might be too long, I may get distracted, flame out, etc.
What would put me in line with a 1:25 target?
