I ran the marathon. They sent out a map the week before, notating where course officials would be, which was key turns and the turnaround. They only had one sign, which was for the turn for the mini loop, then nothing for the other turns or any course officials. Most of the marathon aid stations were a joke as well, no cups, volunteers, or gels, which were promised. I got an extra half mile trying to get back on course. The turnaround point had no signage, minus a 4 inch piece of tape with an arrow. No course officials at the start-finish to talk to afterward about issues.
I had two gels on me, which ended up my total nutrition for this clown show. Finishing as quick as I did with 30 MPH gusts and cold rain, I can't imagine how difficult it was for mid/ back of the pack runners without any real support.
