Gas is about $3.15 here. We survived the worst of the pandemic with a decrease in poverty, thanks to federal government assistance. Unemployment has already fallen back under 5%. Vaccination mandates and campaigns have raised the adult vaccination rate to 69%, without which we would have been close to a million deaths by now, instead of 730-750,000. I'm very happy with the Biden administration, just unhappy with Sinema, Manchin, and their Republican friends, who apparently unanimously oppose universal pre-k, clean energy, and expanded Medicare. We can see who their real base is, the plutocrats like themselves. And Sinema now shares that Republican donor base. Whose good? Not the American people's. The American people, liberal and conservative, overwhelmingly support the majority of items in the infrastructure and human capital bills.
