I always love it when someone says the head honcho is responsible for EVERYTHING. Really, he does every job? Micromanages every person on the set? Accidents happen. Grow up.
Seriously? How is an actor who fires what's supposed to be a harmless prop gun in rehearsal or filming a scene a hypocrite about gun control? I don't even know his stance on gun control, but it's irrelevant. Actors use gun props. What I want to know is how live ammo got in that prop gun.

Accident? Accident is while driving north on I-35, I accidently take I-35W to Minneapolis when I meant to take I-35E to Saint Paul. Accident is while driving south on I-35, I accidently take I-35E to Dallas when I meant to take I-35W to Fort Worth. Poster, have you held in your hand a blank bullet? Poster, have you held in your hand a real bullet? Someone placed a real bullet in pistol Alec Baldwin fired. Someone place a real bullet in said pistol with intent. No accident. I am not saying Baldwin placed the bullet in pistol. I am not saying Baldwin knew someone placed a real bullet in pistol. Poster, someone placed a real bullet in that pistol and that was not an accident.
Did you condemn Laura Bush for running a stop sign in high school and killing a classmate on a bicycle? That was an actual act of criminal negligence. This is an accident that any number of actors would have committed had their prop guy been as careless as in this case.

And anyone following should have subsequently checked non-union or union, including Baldwin. And Baldwin took deliberate aim. Not off to the side, where camera angle coulde, but straight aim. This is totally on him but nothing will come of it, again. Peons get killed, the kings continue to rule.
If Baldwin took deliberate aim and fired 1 shot, how come he shot 2 people? Is he that good of a shot, or did he get unlucky and had the bullet fragment after striking a camera or light stand?
Anyway he pulled the trigger now he owns the out come. Leason #1 It's the gun holders responsibility to know if the gun is loaded or unloaded properly before the cameras start rolling. And the guy that handed him the gun and anyone else involved with the gun or cartridges will be answering a lot of questions
I don't like A. Baldwin, but I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

I condemn both. Not only did he not have to pull the trigger, he could have fired off axis. You know, camera angles. His history of reckless behavior leads reasonable people to come to a conclusion. But don't you fear, the king you are simping for well get off scot free.

Agreed. Can't automatically blame the head honcho. It's definitely the fault of the shooter.
O wait..

I concur.

New Mexico has an involuntary manslaughter charge that Baldwin could be charged with. Even if it was 100% accidental, he pointed a loaded gun at someone and pulled the trigger killing them.
LOL you’re dumb.

"Involuntary manslaughter also involves a killing that occurs while the defendant is engaging in a lawful but dangerous act without exercising “due caution and circumspection.” Involuntary manslaughter is a fourth-degree felony, punishable by up to eighteen months in prison and a fine of up to $5,000."

LOL you’re dumberer.
I hope the right wing circle jerk has been satisfying. Those of us with brain cells will understand that an actor firing a prop gun is not guilty of anything. It's a tragic accident yet you mouth breathers are disrespecting the poor woman's death by flailing around like it's a political thing. I'd say "have you no humanity" but I know the answer. Nice to see the usual right wing wack job circle-jerk on here. You guys are so f-ing stupid it's sad. Thankfully covid is reducing your numbers.
As desperately as you jack-offs want otherwise, an actor is not going to be liable for any kind of manslaughter in this situation. And if normal movie safety protocols were violated, there could be some civil liability but it won't fall on Baldwin personally but his production company.
Right. Conservatives are “sad”.
Baldwin kills a woman and it’s about conservatives.
You are delusional.
And since all you mouth breathers are too stupid to click links and read, and since the embedded link is not clear, here are the salient parts of the article ("salient" means "relevant"...is that too big a word?):
"Alec Baldwin Was Told Gun in Fatal Shooting on Set Was Safe, Officials Say
The actor was told a gun being used as a prop was safe before he fired it on the set of “Rust,” killing the film’s cinematographer and wounding its director, law enforcement officials said.
...An assistant director grabbed one of three prop guns that the film’s armorer had set up outside on a gray cart, handed it to Mr. Baldwin, and, according to an affidavit signed by Detective Joel Cano of the Santa Fe County sheriff’s office, yelled “Cold Gun!” — which was supposed to indicate that the gun did not have any live rounds in it.
When Mr. Baldwin fired the gun, law enforcement officials said, it struck and killed the film’s cinematographer and wounded its director — and raised new questions about firearms safety on film sets.
The assistant director “did not know live rounds were in the prop-gun” when he gave it to Mr. Baldwin, according to the affidavit, which was made as part of a search warrant application. The affidavit did not specify what kind of ammunition the gun had been loaded with. "

You started this thread just for troll purposes, and it backfired on you completely. Liberals have been completely humiliated here on the Baldwin gun shooting issues, and it upsets you.
You are just going to have to live with what you have wrought. Same as Baldwin.
Humiliated? Nope. Still deleting vastly superior to you and your ilk. Upset? Nope. Happier than when the day began. Projection much?

I’m sure that holds up well in court.
Dude, like accidents happen bro. Like I’m totally sorry I shot that lady and she’s like dead and stuff.
Two helpful reminders:
1) Prop guns don't fire bullets. That NY Times source is damage control. Like Hollywood doesn't have PR.
2) Nothing will happen to Alec.
So we can all calm down and continue under the two rule system. One for him and the rest for us. Seriously nothing will happen to him except he will have to cut a check.

Stop calling it a "prop" gun. It was established it was a real gun, with the chambers visible . It is now a murder weapon , and the perp Baldwin was escorted off the crime scene .
