What did Y2? run?
If its allowed to not just talk elites, the oldest (and largely unknown) Ingebrigtsen brother ran a 5min pb and a new family record with 1.15. Wonder how far he can take it before one of his younger brothers does a half. Maybe his coach Henrik will be the one?

Gidey splits according to tracking & live broadcast:
5K: 15:00 (1:03:17 pace)
10K: 29:45 (1:02:45 pace)
15K: 44:29 (1:02:33 pace)
Finish: 1:02:50 ish
The splits are glitching out so I'm not sure how accurate
She must have been well under an hour at 20k. I don't think a woman has ever done this

Sarah Lahti, Sverige, 1:08:19, first non African in the race. Kudos to her and does Coach JS have a relationship coaching relationship with this athlete?
No, we have never chat and nor met. I think she first was coach by a Dutch coach and last years the Australian top coach Nic Bideau.
Bideau coaches Sarah Lahti in the same way that you coach all these 2:05 marathoners: he doesn't.
Like always, you just completely made this up. It is not true. It is a complete lie and I have no idea how you even came up with it.

Kibiwott Kandie will run NY marathon, so it was not possible running a top half today
In two weeks ? Should not have been a problem. One example that come to my mind of many was Douglas Wakiihuri winning Stockhplm half ( I think I remember correct there but not 100% sure) before he became the World Champ at marathon ONE week after.

Exactly my thoughts. The female one hour record is 18,930 meters by Sifan Hassan.

I know for sure that Nic Bideau has coached Sarah! But who the coach is today I haven`t seen.....

Only in the App as far as I can tell and Gidey was not tracked there for some reason.

This is extremely faulty logic. Just because ut has been done doesn't mean that its the smartest thing to do.

I checked it up and found she was only coached by Nic for six weeks! Sarah didn`t like his program
and left for the Dutch coach Bram Wassenaar. I don`t know if he `s still the coach.

Jakob stated in early 2020 that in the long term HM would be his best event. He will possibly debut in well under 60?

Correct. Jan showing why his athletes suck at the marathon.

Could have been very smart to run a new WR at Valencia Half and then two weeks( not one! ) to recover proper and win even NY ?

Even more evidence of why Stensson's runner fail at the marathon distance.

You just keep on writing your crap! Just because I prove it`s absolutely no problem to run a top half TWO weeks before a marathon doesn`t mean I have my marathoners to do that!
I got up at 5 am to go to the bathroom and saw the results coudln't go back to sleep. My artice about the race is now up on the HP.
She's the modern day version of Paula Radcliffe - just redefining what we think is possible on the roads.
My god what a run.
It converts to way better than every WR on the books. Yes, I know the scoring tables were invented before super shoes.
But she's still a minute better than anyone else in history? That's crazy. Kipchoge has never been that much better than everyone else. He took 1:18 off the marathon WR. She took 70 seconds off the half marathon WR (although if you want to say 59 seconds, I'm fine with that).
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
