exactly. you should do 2-3 miles at marathon pace, maybe some 400s a BIT faster. AND THATS IT
WHOA now this is the gossip that needs addressing.
what happened here?
This is common knowledge at this point
Proper recovery would
Workout warrior. He needs a coach who will physically restrain him from doing this to himself.
The fact that Ritz can't even be bothered to show up to Stinson's workouts that Sweat Elite recorded is an interesting subtext. He agreed to coach the guy and it's not like he's up in Michigan while Stinson trains in Boulder.

Ritz priority is OAC not Parker… just like Coach Smith he isn’t always with Galen is he?? They’re both grown men, they can follow the training plan and get back to their coach. I’m sure in the fall once Klecker starts doing more strength they’ll get together like they did earlier this year.

If only Stinson knew how to train like the hobby joggers on Let's Run's forums.... the lack of self awareness on these boards is hilarious.
That’s dumb logic. So you have to be a faster runner than someone to criticize them? By that logic is Michael Jordan the only person who can criticize Lebron James?
There's only one time of day both OAC and Stinson train? Again, this isn't difficult logistics of significant distance between parties. Everyone knows Stinson's predilections, why agree to coach him and let him run himself into the ground?
The point is that you just don't see that with other coaches at that level. Ritz made the choice to coach him so he obviously has therefore chosen to have more than one priority to that end. As implied in the post above, the proof is in the pudding.
On the same token, it's Ritz's right to not care. Personally, if I were in his shoes, I'd tell Stinson to find another coach.
I think Parker Stinson is doing fine without Adderall.
Parker is the one person to not progress under Ritz. Hmmm
