Are 8-10 weeks enough to train and race half marathons?
I'm talking about multiple half marathons and going all in.

Yes. I ran a half marathon a week ago and am going to run another in a week.
8 to 10 weeks is more than enough to train and taper.
An 18 week cycle may be “better”, but 8 weeks is more than sufficient.
You aren’t a pro, so get out there and have some fun.

How do you know he/she is not a pro? You know him/her?
Because a pro wouldn’t ask a question like this on letsrun or at all.

Of course you are generally correct but some might decide to have a bit of fun and see what the responses are. I know this has happened here.
I'd wait 3 weeks between half races. No race the week after one, maybe a 5K the week before.
Are you running or racing?
Running you could do ever few days or every week.
Racing for performance, 3 weeks maybe.
I think you could get by racing a half once a month or so if you had a solid 12-16 weeks heading into the 1st one & wanted to race a fair amount for a few months.
If you're looking to make real gains, you'll race & take time to recover. A week off or easy, another week easy with no workouts, then getting up to 70-80% of normal volume in that 3rd week with 1 workout. Then that 4th/5th week you start your build for your next real race. Something like that anyways. You're probably only going to be able to peak 2 or 3 times in a year for something like the half.
