I am a 24 year old Colorado born post collegiate. I would say I was an above average DII runner, several time all conference runner. Nothing Crazy in terms of PR's-1500 3:54, 3000-8:27, 5K 14:55, 8k-24:30 but all these times were run at altitude. I felt like at the school I ran at in college didn't provide me with a great opportunity to race at my best in the best situation (Getting in competitive sea level races mainly)
So I feel like I still have good if not my best running ahead of me, but the post collegiate grind has been tough. It has been very difficult to find solid consistency doing most of my training solo. But also finding a reliable coach or group has been much more difficult than I had anticipated. Once I fell out of that rhythm of training with a team my running has been quite all over the place. I Guess I'm just looking for advice on my path forward with this sport, or at my ability level when you are done running in college is it time to give it up?
Thanks in advance
