when has he done this?
He made fun of Tinman Elite via Twitter I think. Don’t exactly remember the specifics. But Drew Hunter responded and said his feelings were hurt.

Why is he telling us this? Robert says pro runners should never say anything online, they should just train and race.

Degree from Georgetown.
Why do runners sign with a company that makes crap shoes?
Puma, Reebok, Under Armor, all make crap. It’s just a matter of time.

Those Georgetown guys are always running the C&O towpath. That's dirt. So what the heck??

go look at his Strava. Brandt lives in Rosslyn and does a decent amount of C&O towpath miles, but he also does A LOT of miles on the roads. He also lives near Teddy Roosevelt island and NEEDS to do miles there. If you do it right, you can do 8-10 miles on Teddy R without getting bored. If he wants to prevent further stress reactions, he should replace about 20 miles a week of his road miles with Teddy R miles, and maybe bring down his overall mileage by 5-10 miles a week. Better to get to the starting line a tad undertrained than not at all

You would too if these companies were paying you A LOT more than Nike, Adidas, etc.

TRI is a great spot to run, but no way can you do 8-10 miles there without getting bored.

It’s not so bad. You do a couple laps in one direction, a couple laps in another direction, a figure 8s in one direction, figure 8s in another direction, that puts you at about 8 miles.

8-10 miles, rather. It’s nice. But yeah, for his own health, doing 100 mile weeks while living in Rosslyn isn’t really viable. Too much pounding pavement or loss of morale from having to run on the CO path nearly every damn day.
