It really isn’t as well Tinman is a really common nickname to give to someone who works in sheet metal or HVAC duct installation just like how sparky is for electricians. So before even Tom was calling himself Tinman there was already thousands and thousands of people calling themselves “Tinman” in fact I just realized the hammer they use in Tinman elites cross hammer logo is a sheet metal hammer.

Tom was getting paid pretty pennies ($200/month) from several other athletes on the side such as Tinman track club and couldn’t even fulfill those obligations such as maybe caring about their races or heck even showing up to a full practice. He’s done a good job at painting himself as the victim when in reality the Tinman Elite guys needed someone to pay attention to all sides of what professional running entails. He was more interested in pimping out his high school kids and PhD degree than actually the athletes that were right in front of his face that showed promise. Time is finite in this sport and those guys recognize that and did what they thought was best for their chances.

If the guy came across as an actual narcissist then yeah go for it. But he doesn’t at all. It’s just getting tired coming on these message boards and reading non constructive criticism after criticism. So dude your negative attitude needs to chill. How about we support guys that are trying to run at a high level. All people want to do is tear others down lately. Is it insecurity? Is it jealousy? Whatever it is how about we promote the sport we enjoy? How about be positive about excellent media content being put out. The name of this website should be changed to let’s change our bad attitudes.
