So I am a junior running for a decent DI school. Because of COVID and an injury that kept me from racing indoor and outdoor, I feel like I have missed out on a lot of the college running experience.
I have a full fifth year, and will have additional eligibility for a sixth year because of my medical redshirt. I want to use all of my eligibility, but at the same time, I need to start making money after I graduate next year.
Are there any grad students who run DI and work part/full time as well? I feel like it'd be possible to practice in the morning, work from 9-5, then take grad school classes in the evening.
I'm studying computer science, and interested in becoming either a software engineer or data scientist. I feel like if there was any field where I could run and work at the same time, it'd be a tech job, especially with the explosion of remote opportunities over the past year.
