Yes.
I was lucky enough to find a traditional lady in a sea of woke modern women who have a chip on their shoulder about their inequalities whilst completely disregarding all appreciation for being alive in a stable and wealthy society in the 21st century.
To the point, I couldn’t have cared what name she took or kept, but it didn’t surprise me when she went the traditionalist route. It was completely her choice.
I’m British btw.

2) how does your wife keeping her surname prevent you from leading the family?
You take her cherry, she takes your last name, fair trade.
The hard truth is that if a woman truly loves and respects her husband, she will happily take his last name. Consider that Beyonce had her "Mrs Carter" tour and Madonna used to parade around in her "Mrs Ritchie" jacket. There are extremely rare cases where a woman has a certain celebrity and will still go by her maiden name. But that doesn't apply to you. The most embarrassing instances are when she keeps her previous husband's last name while married to another man. A colleague is in that kind of marriage and needless to say she dominates him in the most humiliating ways.

Sorry buddy, if you have to ask these questions then we can't even begin to have this conversation.
Yes

Nonsense, it has nothing to do with being a celebrity. There are many practical reasons for the woman (or man) not to change their names. Take an academic with 50 publications that has been cited thousands of times. Someone's academic record is tied to their name and It can be a massive undertaking to correct the record on every citation.
What about royalties from books or music, patents, copywrite ownership, deeds on property, board certifications, etc. And we are not even talking about basic things like credit cards, investment accounts, membership in professional organizations, airline and hotels loyalty programs, and on and on.
For a 50-year-old with a long professional history and significant, diverse financial holdings it may not make sense to make a name change. My wife did not change her name, but the kids have my last name and her family name as their middle name.

It seems weird if they have kids. Does the kid take mom's last name or dad's last name? Hell just give the kid a new last name. 🙄 Then everybody in the family has different last name and nobody knows they a family. Usually you would expect a family to all have one last name. Mr and Mrs Smith. Oh that is the Smith's home on the corner. 🤔
Men are providers and protectors.
Women are nurturers.
Women give birth.
Men have more testosterone than women (bigger, stronger, faster).

PC is completely correct. Men provide, protect and lead families. If your wife won't take your last name then she doesn't love or respect you enough. No last name = no ring.

👆exactly
Yes or no -- we live in a society where women are told they have to

So if her cherry was already taken then she keeps her last name? Look at all the divorces, widows, living together, previous BF's. etc. This is 2021.....not 1921.
Imagine actually believing that a wife using her husbands last name is requisite for love and respect. Yikes indeed.
Everyone is looking for someone to blame.
