They were screaming about hanging Pence. The broke doors and shattered windows. Over 100 Capitol police were injured. Need any more examples? Didn't think so.
It was not violent. They carried flags not assault rifles. It was a protest. You clowns are idiots to suggest otherwise.
So you are OK with me and a few hundred of my friends breaking into your house, knocking out your windows, dragging you down the stairs, stealing your computer, etc...

What kind of "insurrection" would take over a government building and then just leave? Didn't they want to be the new government?
There's detestable Flagpole insisting they wanted to stop the certification. What a great strategy to only stay for an hour then. All that happened was a bit of mob dynamics.

A painfully weak one.
They got hungry and left for food.
No
It was the first insurrection since guns were invented where the insurrectionists didn't use a gun.

In good countries a kid who mows down 6 cyclists in his truck also actually faces repercussions.
Something tells me these weren't the responses OP was hoping for.

LOL at fat boy Reffitt.

Some of the January 6 events appear to meet the definition of insurrection.
But so does all the BLM looting and rioting in 2020, which was on a much larger scale.
No. Not true. There were exactly two cities that had problems big enough to even consider bringing in The National Guard. Rioting and looting is not good, but what happened on Jan. 6 was an attempt to overturn a free and fair election, so it was a much bigger deal in any and all ways considered.

They erected gallows. Some of them had zip ties. They were chanting to hang Pence. They attacked the police with what they had. Kind of hard to bring firearms there. Just because they were stupid and didn't get the job done or even think it through doesn't mean it wasn't an insurrection. Many of them bragged online for weeks how prepared they were and that we "would see". You are an idiot.

They were carrying flags, idiot. Trump told them to march on down peacefully. Understand?
Doesn't matter what they were carrying. They attacked and broke into the Capitol Building. They erected gallows. They chanted that they wanted to hang Pence. Some had zip ties and protective gear. And Trump didn't tell them to march down peacefully, you nimrod. He told them that they had to show strength. Idiot.

Hahahahahahahahahaha you poor thing for believing that. People died you fool.
Yes. But the MSM and deranged liberal types who have continued to act like this event and its actors posed any real threat to the government or our democracy are either delusional or intentionally disingenuous for political gain. The only real significance to it was merely symbolic - that's not to say any illegal acts should go unpunished though.
Holy crap, there's like more than one person that believes this staged insurrection crap? Or is this some troll with a bunch of handles? Holy mother...This is like flat Earth believers x10. Hard to believe there are this many people out there so mentally handicapped and so out of touch. I'm beginning to understand why evil creeps have been allowed to run this country.

You suck!
Mostly peaceful protest until Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd shot at close range an unarmed woman.
Yes, definitely an insurrection. Luckily they didn't reach Pence, Pelosi or any other politicians as there is no telling what they would have done.
It was a number of boneheaded idiots. Just like the BLM protests, only less violent and less destructive (especially against non-involved parties). At least the people protesting the government only acted against the government. BLM ransacked Walgreens. Last I checked Chauvin didn’t work at Walgreens.
