I am thinking about buying a pair of super shoes for my November marathon.
I currently rotate between Hoka Cliftons and Brooks Ghosts as my daily trainers. I usually wear the Cliftons for workouts and long runs and the Ghosts for easy runs. I have a long history of Achilles tendonitis including a bad bout this summer where I was forced to take over 6 weeks off.
My heels feel fine now with enough prehab/rehab and rest.
I am curious if anyone else with a history of Achilles issues had luck in any particular super shoe? Or, if anyone tried out these super shoes and aggravated old injuries.
My choice would probably the Next%s or the Asics Metaspeed.
Thanks for any input!
