No. We are talking about distance runners from an area where most families earn $200k. Yale doesn't give discounts if you earn $200k in LA and have a 1 bedroom apt or you earn $200k in rural Alabama and have a mansion. 50% of Yale students get no discount. None.
Ditto on the womens front. It’s embarrassing to be in the basement each meet when direct peers (Harvard/Princeton) are rocking it. I know plenty of high school programs that are more focused, organized, goal oriented, motivated, hard working, etc. Almost a recreational outlook.
