Seems like a lot of illegal aliens do just fine in our country without speaking English and having no proper documents for legal work.

He was a 22yo with a limited income. Not many that age are responsible. He probably backowed a few months or more. He may have asked his parents to help him either with flights or bills. When he came back he probably found that she was on instagram hitting up other dudes.
Oh, WOW!! Aaron Henricks the Dicktective has solved the case.

Not saying that is a good reason but it causes fights especially with other stressors looming in the background. Probably the last straw.
Stop talking, defect.

The opportunities to support themselves are far worse than in their home countries which is where Laundrie would be looking for work. "Do just fine" is isn't an accurate assessment of the quality of life for illegal immigrants here in U.S.
Laundrie just got caught. Freaking top-loading washers, bah!

Why are the cops incompetent? What do you think they could have done to capture him?
As soon as Petito went missing and he showed up in Florida without her and with no explanation of her whereabouts even though they were clearly traveling together, there is no way North Port PD shouldn't have detained him for at least a few days and grilled him for info.
That he was left free to do as he pleased tells me some sort of corruption is at play, that the Laundrie family is powerful and well connected, and they had the ability to strongarm North Port PD into not suitably investigating until it was way too late.
The authorities have never talked to him or seen him from Sept 11th (the day the missing persons report was filed) through today. He wasn't around to detain or be placed under surveillance.

Let me clean that sentence up a bit:

Exactly. And now they will never find him. He ghosted. The Big Fade. He went to ground. He's laughing at law enforcement.
If he made it out of the country before things got hot, then he could ride it out if someone is sending him cash. Mexico and central America are pretty good, but only if you have money. Finding local work is unlikely. If you can make it as far as Europe, it's easy to find cash in hand work that's pretty decent, but you are more likely to be spotted.
If you stay in the US, you will be caught before too long. Almost everyone is. His biggest problem is the severity of the likely charges. This is NOT going to fade away over time. You can be looking at 15 - 20 years for drug and property crimes, and there is as good chance of those charges falling by the wayside after a decade or so. He's never going to be coming home.

He may disappear forever but the police never had a chance to aprehend him.
Here is one strangest video taken by a drone over the Laundrie family home. Before mommy realizes a drone is overhead she is "tending" to an unplanted planter bed. Something reaches out from the corner (the planter is not all dirt to the edge) and she hands it something and the something withdraws back down into the gap. The first video link is a closeup and the second the original.

If Laundry was in the backyard, Dog the Bount would have found him by now.
Laundry is gone. He skipped town, never to captured by law enforcement (LE).
Gone with the wind.

Correct. That is obviously a pet of some kind living in the planter. Maybe Brian's pet snake. Or his mom's pet squirrel.
It seems the guy's stuff was found in the nearby park and cadaver dogs have been called in. His stuff was found by his parents after they decided to do their own search and they magically found his stuff after a brief time looking. As if they did where he was hiding all that time. My guess is that the stuff that was found was planted some time ago. He is living in a secret bunker in his mom's backyard.
Okay, the guy's "stuff" includes human remains according to the latest news.
Just happened to be found by the parents. Arrest them now.
His body was probably submerged from the time he disappeared. Or maybe someone else's body was planted there, with the hopes that a month in that environment would somehow prevent identification. All pretty sus.
It certainly seems that the parents were knowingly hiding the boy. Yesterday they went on a multi-hour shopping trip which included picking up a package from Fedex marked "Value Meal Kit".
