The Biden voters probably drive electric cars. Electricty rates would be more valuable to them than the cost of gasoline. 🤔

We still pay less than what the Europeans pay and we have been for years.
My guess is that you're too obtuse to understand the rudimentary principles of how economics and supply and demand work. My guess is that your reading comprehension is also lacking. Either that or you didn't bother to read the article.
If you had read the article or were able to comprehend what it states, you would know that demand for petroleum products plummeted in 2020 due to the pandemic idling economies worldwide. That in turn caused producers to idle production. Now that things have opened back up, demand has increased. However, supply has remained low. Low supply and increased demand = higher prices, bright boy.
If you're too poor to afford to drive your vehicle, perhaps you should start commuting via bike, public transportation, or walking. Coming in here with your straw man argument and bitching about things doesn't suit you well and exposes your ignorance.

A lot of Biden voters probably don't own any cars...
ANYTHING and ANYBODY is better than Trump.
Also, USA pays way too less for gas, the price should be AT LEAST double, if you even pretend to care about climate change.
Price of gasoline for retail customers at gas stations are based on numerous factors. Cities and states quietly increase gasoline tax without public discussion or public debate. Cities and states, depending on location mandate additives. There is a N.I.M.B.Y. factor. The closer you live to oil refinery, possibly cheaper your gasoline but who wants to live near an oil refinery? How close are you to oil deposits? Further away possibly increases prices. Lastly, competition for business and lack of competition. Three gas stations on competing corners will moderate price. If there is one gas station every 25 miles, operators can get away with higher than normal prices. 1) There are federal taxes on gasoline. 2) A president can determine oil supply on hand. 3) U.S. president can beg K.S.A. to increase oil production. Of the three, which one do you want Biden to attempt to change?
The 1st thing Biden did as President was shut down an oil pipeline in America while approving one in Russia.

Clearly, you are insane.

Keystone pipeline's shutting down did not have any impact on current gas prices, nor will it have any appreciable impact in the long-term. Don't allow your political biases to control you.
Whatever...if gas prices are breaking your bank you drive too much or have a gas intensive vehicle.
I filled up my car 12 times last year. Fill up the family/wife's car slightly more often. Gas prices could rise by a factor of 5 before I'd be worried.
Those monster trucks and massive SUVs I see on the road are irresponsible. Drive something sensible, people.

I think you are missing the point.
Higher energy prices increase the cost of everything you buy.
Honestly I voted for him but what a mistake. f**k the prez
Happy to pay more for all sorts of things as long as I don't to see Trump's orange, round face every day on TV.
Prices go up.
Americans are paying the most ever for everything pretty much every year.
Gas is still something right now that is historically cheap.
We've been talking about $5 gas forever.

Correction - higher energy prices encourage people to buy things made locally instead of being made by slaves in China and shipped across the ocean by heavily-polluting cargo ships and then heavily-polluting, road-destroying, dangerous semi trucks.
Higher gas prices are, in the long term, a good thing. If gas was $20/gal we'd see more jobs in America, more jobs evenly distributed across the country instead of only in a handful of places and have cleaner air to breath and safer roads.
This brain dead President Biden has no clue what planet he is on. Gas prices also kills travel prices with airlines. Thats the major cost. I don't see electric planes anytime soon.
The worst President ever in US history is Biden and he proves this every day.

Uhhh we currently have too many jobs in America. We need to get people off the couch and working, not charging them up the butt for gas.

So you're saying that air travel might once again be expensive enough that I won't have to share the plane/airport with hoards of poors in filthy sweatpants? That sounds like a good thing.

Right? Imagine being so dumb that you think Keystone had a bigger impact on prices than record GDP growth.
