Sixth to finish in his debut might be Rodgers Kwemoi. Usually based in Japan, was 7th at the Olympics over 10000 on the track and 4th at the last Worlds over the same trip. Won over ten miles on the roads in Tilburg in 2017 in 45.03
Next could be Kelvin Kiptum, sixth here last year in his PB of 58.42. Won Lens this last July in 59.35
8th may be Mathew Kimeli: debut here but has a road running pedigree. PB on the track over 10000 of 27.14.43 when 2nd in Ostrava in 2017. Just behind Farah then as they cleared out from a quality field [a full minute ahead of Sondre Moen in 9th]. Won on the roads that year also as a 19yo in Le Puy-en-Velay over 15k in 42 flat. Second in Prague over 10k in 27.07 in 2019.
