I'm going to say
1. Cooper Teare, Oregon (He's probably really going to want it)
2. Wes Kiptoo, Iowa St (His coach said he's trained a lot more)
3. Abdiraum Nur, N Az (Finished last year rally good)
4. Connor Manz, BYU (He doesn't seem as hungry from his interview and might be holding more for a team championship, I think he might fall off)
5. Charlie Hicks, Stanford (Could be a wildcard)
6. Nico Young, N. Az (He might go for the W or top 2 and fall back a little)
7. Morgan Beadlescomb, Mich St (Michigan State's first top 10 NCAA finish in history?)
8. Isai Rodriguez, OK St (I don't think he'll run away from it, he's inconsistent, but he will be one of the few ppl to have 3 top ten finishes in NCAA history)
9. Aemon Kemboi, Ark (I just see experience trumping a lot of other factors)
10. James Mwaura, Gonzaga (Gonzaga's first top 10 finish in history?). The guy who made the Olympic traials
11. Aaron Beninfeld, Oregon
12. Hilary Cheruyiot, Alabama
13. Aemon Kithkorio, Campbell (the guy who finished 3rd at outdoor 5k)
1.4. Casey Clinger, BYU (Manz has been talking about he's been in real good shape)
15. Ya red Neguse, Notre Dame (fresh off Olympics)
16. Eduardo Herrerra, Colorado (He's pretty inconsistent, I don't know if I have tons of confidence in him)
17. Olin Hacker, Wisconsin (He was getting some pretty good times towards the end)
18. Tristan Merchant, Northern Arizona (it's a wildcard pick. He never had great competition in Alaska and someone from N AZ will be pushed to the front. I don't think it's George Kusch who aside from winning a weak Big 10 Champion hasn't done much)
19. Gilbert Boit, Arkansas (I think Arkanss will podrium again)
20. Alec Bastien (If you look, he's been All-American each season in 2020-2021)
21. Notre Dame #2 (Dylan Jacobs or the other guy's name who starts with a D)
22. Thomas Radcliffe, UNC (if he's still around, go UNC!)
23.. Keiran Lumb, Washington
24. Cole Sprout, Stanford
25. SE Louisiana (wasn't there some guy who finished in the top 4 at NCAAs last year indoors at 13:31 after running 16 the year before?)
26. Nathan Greene, Washington (the kid from Boise, right?)
27. Notre Dame #3
28. Jackson Mestler, Oregon (I think he'll have extra motivation to step up and rise up like he did at the Olympic trials)
29. Arkansas #3
30. Graham Banks, Harvard
31. Notre Dame #4
32. Ehab El-Sadani, Iona (He was out early and in the leader pack in last year's race, it's possible with a little smarter racing, he could move up)
33. Bennett Pascoe, Arkansas St (to see a school we've never seen before, I believe he was a steeplechcaser finalist)
34. Barry Keane, Butler
35. George Keusch, Northern Arizona (I think that might be a best case scenario)
Teams:
1 . Notre Dame or Northern Arizona (i think an upset will still be very hard and to get the #4 and #5 runners to finish top 25 or even 45 is not easy)
3. Arkansas
4. Stanford
5. Washington
6. Oregon
7. BYU (I do feel bad for Connor Mantz though bc he said the only reason he returned to school was to improve on his 6th place performance, but hey I'd love to see Washington and Oregon do well)
8. Iowa State
9. Michigan
10. Oklahoma State
11. Iona (although much about their line-up, it seems unlikely all the traditional powers will do well)
12. Gonzaga
13. Colorado
14. Indiana
15. Mississippi (although I have no idea who they have this year?)
I'm assuming a couple people will get randomly injured so I'm going to guess it's Vincent Kiprop of Alabama and Brandon Garnica of BYU. It's just picking people at random. and I'm also randomly predicting someone like Adrian Wildschut will fall off this time. It's hard to do well at nationals 2 years in a row
