She posted on her Instagram that she’s moving out of Portland today.
Dropped by Nike, no BTC coaching, dropped by agent, hasn’t performed for LuluLemon so will likely lose her sponsorship with them too.
Does her running career have ANY future?

I don't think she has any major worries. To quote Andy Griffith in an episode starring Barbara Eden, "Nature has been very good to her."

At least she is good looking! 🤔
Probably could retire from running and be a pro beauty model.
Nike did not drop her. They gave her a low ball offer and she dumped them for Lululemon. Lululemon is coming out with running shoes in early 2022. Quigley will be paid quite well to be the brand ambassador for the new line of running shoes.
Quigley probably pushed to hard and flamed out before the trials. Outside of Frerichs and Coburn, Quigley could definitely get the 3rd spot for WCs if she can get back to form. Quigley probably had her best stuff a few years ago, but is only 28 and not done yet.
If you want to call Nike’s $150,000 offer “low balling” you go right ahead.
There's nothing devastating about moving out of Portland.

It’s not about what the actual price is it’s about the DROP IN PRICE from what they gave her out of college she would be dumb to except less after proving herself as a great pro runner.

Well, also the way Nike has treated their female athletes it raises a lot of concerns. She’s obviously thinking long term. Lulu is perfect because of her social media presence.

Yes, that is a low ball offer.
Nike comes out with new sunglasses, she posts about them on instagram. A new Vaporfly colorway, she'll post about it. They want to come out with a recovery drink? She'll post about it.
Question it if you want, but prior to her injury she was one of the top female runners in the US. On top of that, she is the most savvy marketer within the running world.

There’s a reason for a drop in price. You have to earn your pay. When was the last time she won or came close to winning any major race? Or for that matter even compete?
I hope she's training. If she is healthy, she can be getting ready for indoors.
She was doing so well for a while...
Tough luck for her in 2019 and this year missing the big meets.
She's a lot more than a beauty queen.
I thought the Portland State coach, Josh was her personal coach as well? Seems weird to move away if that is the case. Of course, maybe she found a new group, and a new coach, so who knows...
she is the most savvy marketer within the running world.
She isn't the most savvy marketer she just has a huge following because she is super attractive for a distance runner. That's it. Lots of other runners have similar social media "savvy-ness", but don't have the same following because they aren't attractive enough. Good try though.
She must be spending a ton of money on expenses that used to be covered by Nike, specifically her coaching, travel, health expenses etc.
I predict that LuluLemon will drop her next year, there are plenty of younger, prettier runners out there who have a chance to medal and become stars
Lulu can't drop her. They have a ZERO reduction clause until after the 2024 Olympics.
Colleen is fine. She is making $200k base with Lulu until 2024.
Now, she's not maximizing her performance clauses, but maybe she does in 2022.

How do you know this?
I’m sure they could void the relationship on the fact that she signed with them knowing she was injured and wouldn’t make the Olympics. Smells like fraud and misrepresentation

Does any running career have any future? The answer is no. Very very few running careers have ever had a future. Salazar, Tinman, Rojo, and Wejo are some of the rare examples. I guess that there are some career coaches that can make a living coaching, but it's not a very common career for making a living.

What? This concept is nutz. They would never do that. They would lose a lot more than a few hundred thousand dollars from bed PR as a result of a move like this. They get a total babe to represent them. It doesn't matter how she runs.
For the majority of Quigley’s Instagram posts the engagement rates are actually alarmingly low considering her sizable follower count. I think it’s safe to assume a not insignificant amount of her followers are bot accounts and people that are not the target demographic of the many of the brands she promotes on IG.
Des Linden: "The entire sport" has changed since she first started running Boston.
