This stuff is great: “The vaccination passport is not a free passport to racism.”
The cognitive dissonance in liberal minds spikes here. Is there a multi-nuanced way to reconcile all this? I don't see even a winding path to daylight.

This is borderline Monty Python stuff.
Such a bizarre world we’re living in.
The world isn't divided along clear lines.
People with left-leaning ideals were the original anti-vaxxers.
The biggest threat to our country is not white supremacists....It's violent nut-jobs like this.

Looks like we have a classic SJW virtue signaling stand-off
The “everything is racist crowd” vs The “you will kill grandma crowd”
Sit back and watch the left eat itself.
Tick, tick, tick...
The far edges of both the left and right wing have a hilarious penchant for self-immolation.
No, the biggest threat is the current communist-crazed administration trying to re-write the bill of rights.
Their supposed supporters have finally had enough of the authoritarian, racist behavior.
I can't wait to see how libs touch this topic. No matter what they do, it will be ripe with hypocrisy . . . like everything they've done regarding the scamdemic.
Because the world isn't black-white left-right.
There's a very small section of centrist types in favor of vaccine passports for everything. Others are pragmatic and accept for international travel or working with vulnerable people it's sensible.
I'm of the opinion proving vaccination status for things like bars and restaurants is a minor inconvenience, I already have to prove age for entry. But I don't want it to be a long-term thing or to have my status recorded by every place I visit.
BLM are just highlighting they don't want vaccination status used as an excuse to turn away black people if the restaurant is more lenient when asking white customers about theirs.

How are they rewriting the bill of rights? Genuinely curious to see what you mean by this

This will be a bit of a balancing act for the left. The left needs the African American community to win elections. The left is also pretty much the only side pushing hard fit vaccine mandates. The problem is the African American community is notoriously very vaccine hesitant.
The below post is an example of what I believe we will be seeing more of. The group is now claiming the hostess used a racial slur but this confrontation initially stemmed from the lack of vaccination.
https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/group-claims-hostess-using-racial-slur-before-nyc-restaurant-brawl-over-vax-proof/3280589/Looting the answer every time you don’t agree with something or someone. A primitive reaction that solves nothing but destroys innocent peoples livelihood and property.

I actually agree with BLM for once. Even as a POC I thought they were over the top and their founders aren't even African-American (I believe they are two white women).
But in this case, they have legit points on the vaxes from a liberty standpoint. Although I feel vaxes are personally helpful and useful, it is not my right to tell others to get them or not get them.
I’m vaccinated and think everyone should.
However I’m 100% against vaccine passports, crazy authoritarian crap.
Though, if it can unravel BLM then I’m down to keep them. Haha
Does this indicate that BLM is no longer a funding arm of the DNC?
Sorry to us BIPOC, apparently we're no longer useful.

Oh man, you're good at divining what BLM was truly saying in between the lines. This makes MUCH more sense now, because we know of the dozens, if not hundreds, of instances where restaurants (for examples, Carmine's) were waiving vaccine card requirements for whites but enforcing it for blacks. It was Jim Crow lunch counters all over again!
I'm glad you got to the bottom of this, because I thought it was just a bunch of hysterical jackasses threatening more violence over exaggerated claims of racism.
"The left" has always been more of a coalition. There were significant parts of the African American community that were anti-LGBTQi and anti-abortion. My is the anti-vax crowd is even less than that.
The thing is, when you have a right-wing of the country simply refusing to govern in any meaningful way. The choice is easy. Yes we can have discussions on the margins but they aren't voting GOP
We found something the far left and far right agree on: No vaccines.
See, if you look hard enough, two groups can always find common ground.
Anyone trying to find truth and justice in this mess is going to go away sorely disappointed.
Do NY restaurants turn away large groups of black people because they don't want to lose white customers? Absolutely.
Is that what happened here? Maybe, maybe not.
Are black people given a pass when they react violently to racial slurs and discrimination? Absolutely not.
Should activists have picked an incident where there wasn't a video of a black person violently attacking someone over vaccine requirements to make a point about vaccine requirements being used as a pretext for discrimination? Absolutely.
Are black people justified in being hesitant to get the COVID vax? Of course they are.
Is anything positive or enlightening going to come out of this incident? Absolutely not.
Hahahahaha they really need to hire a new PR team because they completely screwed the pooch by alienating themselves.
Many of those on the left will obviously oppose them on this issue because they're in favor of vaccine mandates.
Many of those on the right will oppose them because they're using this issue to push their CRT ideology agenda.
They're by themselves on this one. It's a shame, I always thought the BLM followers were a smart bunch, I never would have imagined they would ideologically corner themselves like this.
