I'm looking for a new plated shoe that can get me through the following:
A 10k TT next week.
1 workout/week (usually 12-15km total on the track, 1k repeats, ladders, etc.)
Any other races that may come up while the shoe has life in it (realistically a 1/2 marathon at some point before long).
I've recently raced in:
Endo Speed (including my last marathon)
Zoom Fly 3 (10k -1/2 marathon)
Boston 9 (5k-10k)
Currently train in a rotation of Mach 4, Pegasus 38, Boston 9, NB Prism, Altras, and Endo Speeds.
I'm looking at the Asic Metaspeed Sky/Edge, Next%2, and Endo Pro. I've never run in the Next% so not sure how I'll like them. I'm not confident in 5 mm drop of the Asics for a racing shoe. And from what I understand the Endo Pros may be a little bit too stiff/firm for me.
I live in a country with minimal stock, so I don't have the luxury of going to a shop and trying all these out. I typically have to order from overseas and cross my fingers. Any opinions?
