I'd love to see him make a Worlds team at 40.

Bracy, Baker, Bromell, Kerley, Coleman, Williams, just offhand…not seeing it. If he does make it, one or two people ahead of him are probably injured or out of form.
I'm glad he has. 10.03, even at altitude is crazy. I'm really curious what he would have been able to do this season if he didn't get sidelines from that injury at the trials. I could have seen him hitting 9.9, maybe even under, legal.
I wondered about that when he clearly eased up in the final couple of strides today. It didn't seem like the was a sprinter would want to go out.
Besides, he ran today after specifically announcing a few weeks ago that Bellinzona would be his last meet. Lots of athletes like to call it a career at Bellinzona since it's such a scenic venue and city. Once Gatlin added an extra race it doesn't shock me he's had second thoughts period.
I just want to see him run next year so he breaks all the masters records.
I, for one, am rooting for him.
I told y'all the Brits were dirty!

Exactly. Not just Gatlin, also Bromell, SCR, Allyson Felix and so on. And surely defended by their Lord.
We’ll see.
The holiday season is coming up. Lots of shopping to be done.

Kim Collins 9.93 is no joke. Gatlin is the only person who could have a shot, though we are seeing some of the top 100m women peak older so maybe new training lends itself to more longevity.

At least this cheater has done his time.

Shelburrito is doing that right now. Unfortunately neither of them has admitted to cheating, or pointed out the coach/pharmacist/physician who orchestrated the doping.

It's not even his best post/thread of the day. That was his post spreading a rumor that legend Frank Shorter used to masturbate in the portaloo before races in order to spike his testosterone levels.
Gatlin should retire. I see nothing but losses in his future.
This is the case of someone who just won't retire when they should have.
Wait and see??
He's probably checking the menu of new release drugs to see if there is anything useful

You want to see a two-time convicted doper and the kind of guy that told a pre-teen on Twitter that he raped their mother represent the US? Really? Gatlin is awful, and he needs to go away for good.
I am surprised you all aren't asking him to move up to 800 m.
Clearly he has endurance, and longevity
Go Gatlin go. Incredible longevity and perseverance. I know he has his haters who think they're perfect but if you can't appreciate his good qualities, you're short sighted and conceited.
