I'm leaning towards Stanford, but not totally sure. Any advice?

go to anyone of them and do some networking the first two years then drop tf outta there. college is run by boomers trying to get kids to to do boomer things. if you're smart, dive head first into the metaverse and tell these universities and their bs fees to kindly go fk themselves.
It depends how large the offers are of course.
What do you want to do after you are done running? Pick based on that.
Stanford, you won’t run forever unless you’re going pro one day. Wouldnt you rather have gone to one of the most prestigious schools in the country.
You received offers from NAU and Stanford? Really?

As a guy who lived on Stanford's campus for 5 years while my wife was in graduate school there, I would recommend to anyone who can handle the academics there to go to Stanford.
If academics are a consideration, a Stanford degree is considered elite.

Absolutely anyone would know that and they would also know that Palo Alto has a far better climate, NAU is at altutude and both schools have great running traditions. The OP would have visited both campuses, met both coaches and possible future teammates. Why would he be here on LR asking for advice?

Hmmm. I'd stick with the community college you're posting from. Nothing wrong with dreaming though.

If it means you are likely to turn out to be an obnoxious windbag like Flagpole, go anywhere but there.

I am righteous, but I am generous and kind. The world would be utopia if everyone exercised my values.

A utopian world where everyone has big biceps.
UNC? The one in Greeley, Colorado or Chapel Hill?
Everyone in CO means the one in Greeley
What an obnoxious little s**t you are Colin. You've done this before and then removed your thread. Quit the bragging, try and find some friends and wait for the kids who aren't looking for pats on the back to smoke your ass on the track.
Have a nice day
For what? Table tennis? Women’s studies?

Exercise Science is the big major for runners that want to get a useless degree.
Stanford. That was easy.

CORRECT!
HOWEVER, those "big biceps" would have to be compared to the pre-utopian world, because if EVERYONE has "big biceps", then are they truly big? [I am willing to entertain differing points of view on that.]
