Anything suspicious, you should get checked out.
I've had several actual tumors and suspicious growths removed, and all were basically the same (though some larger and some smaller). Local anesthetic, a little bit of cutting, then a couple stitches or maybe some glue. Nothing major, and certainly nothing that should prevent you from taking the common-sense step of getting checked out.
