But of course you can. This is a particularly good approach if you want to get injured.

Do you have a postage stamp sized backyard? Just run hundreds of laps around that and you will be fit in no time! UCLA will give you a full ride plus you will get to go on team trips and ride buses and planes with hot boys.
To me it is less of a question of "can you" than "should you".
Some will do fine, but I think the odds are the person will get some sort of ache and just hate it.
Why the rush?
I tried joining XC in my last year of high school even though I never did sports before, but end up getting injured from doing too much too soon.
So what do you suggest instead?

Week 1, 1mile
Week, 2, 2 miles
Week, 3, 3miles
Etc.
Per day? That is too fast

Probably not. You can try but you most likely will run into injuries quick.
Then what should I do intead?

No, one mile increase per week, starting with one fifth of a mile x5 in week one, 2/5 x5 in week 2 etc. Moderate pace, not fast or slow.
Is this a joke?

No. This is how kids build up. You didn’t do this as a child did you?
No

I would start with 3-4 runs a week and see how it goes.
After a month you can go to 4-5 days a week. But then you have to stay on that level for a year or so to get used to running and try to stay injury free.

Do that for a year with two off weeks, and you're at 50 MPW.
walk.
then jog walk 3 x a week some less than 2 mile amount slowly.
supposedly just standing more of the day could help. if you rarely stand.
but for specifically you i would be concerned that you are likely to hurt your figers from tons of typing and never listening.
your figers are those things that type and otherwise whose prmary purpose is to pester your figs. and point at people and say- that one is an idiot.

Which is a lot after just one year. But the build up is very gradual.
He won't do it though. This is an obvious troll.
Because I want to join a running club

I read your manifesto on Reddit. Interesting stuff.
Have you ever considered a career in writing?
As for the 1/5 mile post, it seems like sound advice to me.
