How much weight did you lose? It's ridiculous to drop 2 hours from your marathon, even with the most optimal training

Personally, I think it's the most efficient pace for training to get the most bang out of your miles. I am just speaking from a hobby jogger training perspective. E.g., running 50mpw, doing most miles at MPW, one track session and get a plenty of rest. This won't help much with 5K time but it gets the job done for most hobby marathoners.
With respect to poster HRE running 100+ miles per week with marathon pace is a huge amount of effort for a 32:30 10K.
As a 17:50-18:10 runner, I used to do 5-7 miles on a loop at 6:30-6:40 but never figured out if it helped me or not. All I know is when I started doing work around 6:00 that's when I improved (somewhat, not drastically).
None really.

It wasn't at all a huge effort. It was usually pretty pleasant. It's not like you're gaspimg for breath.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
