Also ummm Jordan Hasay 16th in 1:14:18. That is 6min/mile pace almost exactly and a 1:19 Half marathon equivalent. Um my hobby runner (female) friend just ran that last weekend. What is going on with here. That is not just a medicore pro performance that is not even elite anymore.
That's concerning. I guess Albertos 'training' was just so much better for her.[/quote]
Or maybe She is putting other things in her life ahead of running and still likes to run, but lets say at her best she was running 12-13 times a week, now she may say instead of training, how about read a book or go to a movie Today and skip the run, it happens to lots probably most runners, when they hit a period running is not that important, or they just don't want to train at least not as much, she could be in that phase.
All Speculative maybe's but most runners go through this.
Definitely something is up with Jordan. Look back to get u of o days she wasn’t as thin.
Not a bad race for Aisling Cuffe. As a footlocker champ who ran 15:11 in college, I would love to see her make a comeback
yeah, where is he?? I am a huge Jared Ward fan, but he hasn't had a "Jared Ward" level race since NYC 2019.
Sorry, she's to thin. Looks way smaller than Ostrander who was basically forced to address.
Yalemzerf Yehualaw vs Ben True at Half Marathon would be a close race....
...let that sink in....
Alan
This looked impressive until I realized it was 20 not 21.1 lololol

It's tough to say. She does look very thin, but some athletes can run well when they're thin, while some can't. It's possible that she's too thin, but it's hard to tell without knowing more about her diet and training.
It would however make sense that she lost weight and got more thin under Salazar and had a brief period of great success in the marathon, then her body broke down because it could no longer stay healthy at that weight.
Something similar happened to Molly Seidel in college. She got too thin but briefly ran very well with wins at NCAA XC and NCAA Indoors at 5k and 3k, but then she got injured and had a long road to get back to a healthy and sustainable level. I suspect the same is happening to Jordan, but she isn't getting help. But I could be wrong.
Why is no one in her inner circle getting her the help she so desperately needs? Quit the thyroid meds and stabilize weight.
The photo on her Instagram account pretty much speaks for itself. I'm surprised she would post it frankly.
Nike should help Jordan. To me it looks like a eating disorder.
Looks Good

The webpage for the event on USATF says "Watch on USATF.tv". I clicked on the link, signed up, paid my money for absolutely nothing. Now I have the hassle of getting my money back.
That was a USATF donation link . They thank you, no refunds .
The races are now availablle on USATF site

"So desperately needs"?? She just ran 12 1/2 miles faster than you could by what? 20 minutes?
I don't doubt your sincerity, but this is one of the dumber speculations I've read in a while. She's a pro runner and she posts on social media frequently about her running and recently about her build-up for Boston. She isn't in a phase where she's no longer taking running seriously. My god.

Ok, this is even dumber than the Douglas Burke post. She can't run 20km anywhere near as fast as her marathon PR pace, and you don't think she is struggling? And what difference does it make how fast or slow the poster is? I'll answer: none. Clearly something is hugely wrong with JH, and it's hard to imagine that her frailty isn't connected to it.

Ah yes the famous 20k distance, very distinct from the half marathon(21K)

This is a really, really bad take.
